Day 15 - A book that should be on high school/college required reading list

Discipline and Punish gives an amazing argument for what created the modern system of imprisonment, as well as going over a history of punishment, and presents the serious flaws of the prison system.  Especially in the US, where we are imprisoning such an astounding percentage of the population, this book is extremely relevant.  Also, Foucault is a boss.
